  1. Iโ€™m watching this at 1am trying to learn how to become a computer engineer, btw do I need to be good at science because I failed the science staar state exam but I passed reading and math

  2. This was the most information packed video I’ve found on this subject! I’m really glad you listed project examples. Definitely subbing! I hope you make it to at least 1000 soon.

  3. Thank you for this informative video. I’m heading into the 4th year of my chemical engineering degree, but the pandemic made me realize that I want skills that will allow me to work remotely. I am particularly interested in ML. I have completed an ML course on Coursera and currently doing a Deep Learning specialization. I’m also putting in the hours to sharpen my coding skills on freecodecamp. I don’t know if I can successfully transition though. Even if I have the necessary skills and can prove this through certifications and projects, I do not see why employers would hire me for software development over someone who actually has a CS degree.

  4. Iโ€™m going to college for about 9,000 a year with dorm and meal plan for computer science. My school has a really good internship program and many people get hired quickly out of college. Is this a good path or am I putting myself into lots of debt

  5. Hey Can you tell me how to get a job in outside country I am from India And I want to do a job as a software engineer in us or other country

  6. Iโ€™m so interested in software programming, but I have 0 experience or learning. I donโ€™t know where to start , so overwhelming!

  7. Whatโ€™s the difference between getting a associates & bachelors in Software Engineering. For example, how will jobs look at it?

  8. Im a fresh grad and i don’t have experience also internship because of this pandemic and im so fuck up .. i start searching things how to become software dev , web or devops because i love program then they suggested to practice and create 3 project and Fortfolio basically it takes 3 or 6 months to learn and it depends on your willingness and focus or apply for a bothcamp. and i can’t do that we’re not financially stable boothcamp requires money and time, cause being unimployed for a couple months after graduating is a burden and pressure for a family that’s make you a breadwinner so i start applying for a job that requires no experience then they turn me off like 100+ then i applied for 6 or a year experience required for a job then on interview i said in "terms on program i guess im not left behind with others that have experience" then i become web developer i guess its a matter of luck hahaha ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ but i want to become a software engineer so i will develope my Fortfolio and lot of project here the company hired me it feels like im taking a bothcamp instead of paying them they paid me HAHAHAHA hitting two birds with one stone HAHAHA ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ soonest or after i will apply for software this is my journey Sorry for the grammar just want to share ๐Ÿ˜‚

  9. Thanks for the great information! I am self taught and I love it so far. I know itโ€™s best to stay away from WordPress jobs but I would really like to get into the industry fast. Would you recommend me getting a WordPress job and then developing more advanced skills for my portfolio while doing the WordPress job?

  10. Bro? Can I be a full stack software engineer without finishing bachelor degree?
But I Don’t have anyone who will guide..
Been looking about Software Engineering fo 3 month

Can you tell me the road map about full stack software engineer map?
So that I can start own without purchasing course.

    Another question,
If I buy any course? Which website I should look?
    Udemy or other

Please tell me bro, but I must need road map

I look road map google over and Over but there’s only they mention web development sector.. No software engineer sector

  11. Thanks for the advice. Iโ€™m actually making a career switch right now by attending a master program (data science). Iโ€™m more interested in SDE roles but I only have basic coding skills. Do you have any advice on how to build resume/accumulate project experiences? Cuz right now I donโ€™t really have much software development experience on my resume.

  12. I’ve been learning off of "the Odin project". it’s free and they have you make the projects that he mentions in the self-taught section of the video. I highly recommend it.

  13. And what you do Simon? Coding in some company?
    They pay well?
    Just curious.
Thanks and Like! Great tips. Im not noob but no college degree. So im gonna make some projects. Im strong more in C/C++. I also have made php sites and html sites. Have to refresh my memory.I think C++ would be easier for me.

  14. Anything you can learn in bootcamp you can do for free. I would suggest being self thought, create a program for yourself, create a LinkedIn account network and look for mentors. Most people are willing to help or give advice.

  15. Thank you! Concise and useful information! I am a college student, but I do not feel that the curriculum is gonna cover what I want to be doing after graduation (software development). On the other hand, I donโ€™t think that doing boot camp in addition to school work will be realistic in terms of effort needed, time, money, etc. Do you recommend a source via which I could learn software development, coding, etc online?

  16. Dude! Thanks for your hard work. This video was very informative. especially when you listed those projects examples. Quick question, pls; Do you think using the Wix platform to create those websites is like cheating or it’s okay?

  17. I am starting a bootcamp next month with Nucamp in Orlando. I am ecstatic. 375 a month for 5 months. Very affordable. Rated as one of the best bootcamps in the country.

  18. Iโ€™m currently thinking of changing majors from cs major but I havenโ€™t started it yet. Iโ€™m kinda confused but ur guidance truly helped me attempt these mini projects so I can be have actual skills for my future in college. Much love ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

  19. This is great information, is it possible to learn software engineering on an iPad? If not, I might have to sell some of my things to buy an m1 MacBook Air
